The Story

We have three different anti-mGluR antibodies, each of which binds to a specific peptide sequence(s) present in different sets of mGluR gene family members. The ER1 antibody represents sequences found only in mGluR1. It comprises three different antipeptide antibodies generated against three different regions of the mGluR1 gene product not found in the other mGluR gene family members. This antibody has been validated for immunohistochemistry and immunocytochemistry using mouse brain sections and cultured neuroblastoma cells as well as in rat brain sections.
